FEMME at Tokara Delicatessen, spanning from November 2023 to June/July 2024, presents a curated collection of sculptures by a group of distinct artists. Curated by Ilse Schermers, the exhibition strategically centres on the theme of the female form, aiming to illuminate the diverse perspectives and interpretations offered by each artist, as well as interpretations of the viewers.

With a deliberate focus on the intricate dimensions of the female form, FEMME navigates through a spectrum of mediums, styles, and narratives. Ilse Schermers, the curator and forerunner of the IS Sculpture Garden at Tokara, underscores the unique qualities inherent in the female form, urging viewers to appreciate the complexity and individuality expressed by each artist.
